The Lake Co. Conservation District is a local unit of government that works to fulfill the state’s policy to conserve soil, water, and other natural resources including administration of Montana’s Stream Permitting (310) Law. The District operates a variety of programs and services including our Pollinator Initiative & Seed Giveaway, Septic Maintenance Resources, No-Till Seed Drill Rental, Conservation Speaker Series, and multiple education events throughout the year.
