Sales of the Daffodil bouquets to benefit the American Cancer Society in Lake County will run through Friday, Feb. 19, with delivery of the orders to be made on March 19. To place an order for daffodil bouquets or a plush Boyds bear, contact Heidi Trytten at 261-2879.

February 23rd - CAREER/JOB FAIR
10am to 3pm - Salish Kootenai College Career Services, Student Support Services, Indigenous Math and Science Institute (IMSI), and Lake County Job Service will be hosting the 2010 Career/Job Fair. The event will take place at the Joe McDonald Health and Wellness Center. There will be representatives from local, state and national organizations who will be offering full and part-time employment, summer employment, as well as internships and career opportunities. In conjunction with the Career/Job Fair, Career Services will be providing workshops at the new Arlee/Charlo Theater during the same hours. Workshop topics will include: Networking, Tips & Techniques for Interviewing, Work Place Etiquette (soft skills), What Internships are and how they can benefit you, Options for Dislocated Worker, SKC Recruiting and Tips for Disabled Workers.

February 23rd - Ronan/Polson High School Combined Choir Concert
7pm - The 18th annual Ronan/Polson High School Combined Choir Concert will be presented free at the Ronan Performing Arts Center. Six choirs from both schools will perform selections separately and then combined. The choirs will sing a variety of music such as classical, folk, gospel and pop. The Ronan choirs are conducted by Mrs. Cathy Gillhouse and accompanied by Wendy Sanders. The Polson choirs are conducted by Mr. Chris Bumgarner and accompanied by Mrs. Karla Gallatin and Karissa Koberg.
